Author Biography

Eric Dawe is an award-winning writer/director/actor and a graduate of Michigan State University.

The author of five screenplays, several one-act plays, and two full-length stage plays, Eric won the 2005 C.T.A.M. Regional Playwriting Competition for his original stage play, The Watch List. In 2007, Eric was awarded Honorable Mention in the Writers Digest 76th Annual Writing Competition - which received over 19,000 entries - for his original screenplay, Lightning. The Watch List was awarded Honorable Mention in the 77th Annual Writer's Digest National Writing Competition in 2008.

Aeneas, Last King of Troy is Eric's first novel, based on Virgil's classic, The Aeneid.

Eric lives in Michigan and is the father of three children, Stephanie, Angela, and Eric. 'They are my inspiration,' he says, 'and the source of my determination never to surrender to life's setbacks.'
